In the 17th of June, Caetano Aeronautic was inaugurated, at a ceremony chaired by the Minister of National Defense, José Pedro Aguiar Branco. The official opening was attended by the President of the Salvador Caetano Group, the CEO of ACITTURRI Group, representatives of Airbus Defence and Space, among other partners, public and financing entities and companies related to the sector.
The ceremony’s program included a visit to the Salvador Caetano Training Centre and the plant, interventions from the President of Caetano Aeronautic, José Ramos, and some of the main players in this project.
At the end of the ceremony, a commemorative plaque commemorating was unveiled.
This day represented another important step in the history of Salvador Caetano Group, marking the Group's entry into a new and ambitious business segment - the aerospace industry.
